His main purpose for pursuing a career in dentistry is so he could help people like he was helped when he was a kid visiting the dentist. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1999 from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. To this day, he continues with his education so he could provide the most convenient and comfortable techniques to his patients. One of the things that Dr. Takla enjoys is getting to know his patients. He knows, from personal experiences as a child, that dental visits can be intimidating for a lot of people. As a result, he is dedicated to making the office a comfortable place that will not only transform smiles, but will transform lives. When he is not helping his patients improve their smiles, Dr. Takla loves to spend his free time with his wife and their four children. He also enjoys running, reading, cooking, or making amazing BBQ. He is a certified scuba diver, and loves to travel to new beaches.

He develops a one-on-one relationship with each patient, learning about their dental health goals, and then uses his artistic abilities and technical skills to develop the smile the patient has yearned for.Dr. Barsa knows the importance of continuing education as a dental professional. It is only through keeping up-to-date on advancements in dental techniques, practices, and technologies that he is able to provide the best care for his patients. In addition to attending and participating in conferences, Dr. Barsa has studied dental implant techniques, surgical dentistry, and has taken courses through the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. A native of Damascus, Syria, Dr. Barsa now calls Chicago his home. He enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, bike riding, reading, and watching movies. Dr. Barsa also loves dining out! He is a choir member and a Sunday School teacher as well.

Dr. Mahmoud Abusaoud received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois – Chicago; Magna Cum Laude. He then pursued his career in dentistry having earned his degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University – Illinois. Dr. Mahmoud believes patient-centered care is of the utmost importance and loves getting to know his patients. He feels it is necessary to keep the patient well-informed and will strive to provide the best care possible. His easy-going and empathetic demeanor will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. He values his career and is grateful that it allows him to help his patients. In his free time, Dr. Mahmoud enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Zaid Ramzi Atarchi is a Board Certified Periodontist, he graduated in 2001, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the College of Dentistry, Baghdad University. He was selected to complete a prosthodontics residency at the same school. This residency provided him with advanced training in restorative dentistry, he earned his Master’s Degree and Certificate in Prosthodontics in 2005. He also held a faculty position as a full-time Clinical Lecturer at the College of Dentistry, Baghdad University. He spent several years in private practice and volunteering in community clinics, serving and educating oral health for people in need. Helping people and improving their smiles energizes him. He feels fortunate to be rewarded emotionally every day for what he does, who he helps, and who he gets to work with. His interest in education compelled him to pursue another specialty training program, he enrolled at Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education, where he earned his Master of Science in dentistry and Certificate in Periodontics in 2016.Dr. Atarchi is an active member of American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Atarchi and his wife Israa are heavily involved with the raising of their four daughters. They all enjoy reading, travelling and numerous other outdoor activities.

Dr. Hetal Patel is a skilled and gentle dentist, whose infectious smile makes even the most timid patient feel secure and able to relax. He is always ready with a joke and makes time to get to know his patients. For Dr. Patel, dentistry is truly a way of making the world a better place, by improving the lives of his patients, patients who have become his friends. Each day brings with it new challenges, new people to meet and help, and new conversations, all of which keep Dr. Patel engaged and interested in his work. Dr. Patel first studied dentistry in India and practiced there for several years before coming to the United States, where he attended the University of Illinois, Chicago, and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Each year, Dr. Patel attends many dental seminars and conferences, constantly seeking to further his professional education so he is best able to meet the needs of his patients, by offering leading-edge, proven treatments and options.

Dr. Patel is a native of India. He and his wife, along with their two daughters, now call West Chicago their home. When he has time, Dr. Patel loves playing golf and traveling with his family. Dr. Patel’s community involvement includes volunteering at health fairs, and he donates his professional services by offering dental care for the underserved.

Dr. Siddiqui is a general dentist that takes pride in providing compassionate dental care for the entire family. He believes that every person, regardless of age, deserves a great dentist and a gorgeous smile. His goal is that every patient is treated promptly and always enjoys top-quality attention, professionalism, and care.  He earned dental degree from the UIC College of Dentistry. Today, he keeps his skills sharp thanks to memberships in the American Dental Association and Illinois Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Siddiqui enjoys playing basketball and cooking.
