If braces aren’t an option for you, either because they’re too uncomfortable or you’re too embarrassed by the way they look, but you still need serious adjustment to your teeth, then we have the solution for you. Invisalign aligners are made from clear plastic, meaning they’re almost invisible to the naked eye. They’re also designed to be easily removable, so you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want, as long as you take out your aligners beforehand. If you think Invisalign may be just what you need, give our friendly and courteous staff a call to find out if Invisalign is right for you!
How It Works
If Invisalign can best help you, we’ll start by creating a customized treatment plan to suit your mouth and your exact needs. Then, we’ll make a mold of your teeth to make sure your aligners fit perfectly when they’re finished. While you’re being treated, you’ll switch to a new aligner every two weeks. Each individual aligner adjusts your teeth slightly, moving them slowly into the desired position while preparing your teeth for the next aligner. For the duration of your treatment, you’ll switch to a new aligner every two weeks. Each aligner will adjust your teeth slightly, slowly moving them into the desired position and preparing them for the next aligner. When you stop by our offices, we’ll give you 2-3 aligners at a time. Because of this you’ll only have to stop by every 4-6 weeks to pick up your new aligners. While you’re here, we’ll give you a checkup to make sure everything is going smoothly.
The Advantages of Invisalign
As the name implies, Invisalign is nearly invisible, so you don’t have to feel embarrassed or awkward because of your braces. The aligners are easily removable, allowing you to clean or replace them whenever you need to. Normal braces don’t let you eat certain foods without causing a lot of problems for your teeth, but with Invisalign, you can eat whatever you like. All you need to do is remove the aligner before eating and put it back in when you’re done. Removable aligners also mean that you can brush and floss normally. As a result, your teeth will be much healthier than they would have been had you worn traditional braces. And since each aligner is only made to last you for a couple weeks, lost or broken aligners can be replaced easily. If we think you’ll need a retainer after the process is finished, your last aligner can serve as a retainer for as long as you need it, giving you an invisible and comfortable retainer.
